Rasmus Højlund
Sinks Udinese on Sunday
Hojlund scored one goal to go with two shots (two on target) and two chances created in Sunday's 1-0 victory over Udinese.
Analysis: Hojlund broke the deadlock pretty early by keeping his aplomb in front of the goalie after beating the offside trap. He finished the season on a high note with two goals and three assists in the last three rounds and creating at least one chance in his last 10 appearances, amassing 14. He benefitted from a regular role and Romelu Lukaku's extended absences, finishing up with 15 goals, 5 assists, 73 shots and 35 key passes in 40 appearances.
Goal and assist in win
Hojlund scored one goal and assisted once from two shots and one chance created in Sunday's 3-0 win over Pisa.
Analysis: Hojlund returned to the scoresheet after going six straight starts without a goal, delivering a strong offensive display in the process. The forward has also now registered back to back assists from his only two chances created across those two games, bringing his tally over the last seven outings to one goal and three assists from 13 shots and eight chances created.
Dishes out helper in Bologna match
Hojlund assisted once to go with one chance created and drew three fouls in Monday's 3-2 loss versus Bologna.
Analysis: Hojlund didn't have a great outing but fed Alisson Santos before a surgical shot by his teammate, providing his fourth helper in the season and his second in the last five games. He has created at least one chance in eight displays on the trot, racking up 11. Instead, he snapped a 26-game streak with one or more shots in this one.
Heading towards exit
Hojlund is set to leave the club on loan this campaign after not appearing in either match to open the season, according to Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News.
Analysis: Hojlund seems to be on his way out from Manchester United for at least the next season, with interest presented by a few Italian clubs. This comes after his exclusion from their two games to open the season, not even earning a spot on the bench. He especially struggled last year with his four goals in 32 appearances (23 starts), so he will hope a move away can get his career back on track, once thought of as a top rising talent.
